Each piece is carefully hand-wrinkled by skilled craftsmen to create a finish that is both durable and lightweight, with a texture reminiscent of Japanese washi paper.
Because the processing is done by hand, no two items have the exact same wrinkle pattern.
Before use, it has a dry touch that feels very much like paper, but as it is used, it develops greater depth and luster, gradually taking on the soft character typical of leather.

Care Instructions

Applying a commercially available leather waterproofing spray before use will help prevent moisture and dirt from soaking in, and will help maintain the leather's texture for longer.

When using waterproofing sprays or similar products, please be aware that compatibility with the leather can vary. Always follow the instructions provided on the spray carefully and test it on an inconspicuous area first.

If the leather gets wet, please wipe off the moisture as soon as possible with a soft cloth and let it air dry in the shade, as water can cause stains and loss of shape.
