Inspired by basketry, this mini bag is part of the KAGO series.
We created prototypes based on various baskets and refined them into a simple shape that is easy to use every day.
The cowhide leather is punched with holes, which are then used to weave the bag together using leather cord of the same material.
From cutting to weaving, each piece is crafted one by one at the i ro se studio.
Due to the punching process, the bag is about two-thirds the weight of a standard leather bag.
While it has a matte texture when new, it will develop a beautiful sheen over time, allowing you to enjoy the unique aging process of the leather.
As for the size, it can hold two 350ml plastic bottles standing upright.
